Studio and Class Rules

Safety


  • Wash or sanitise your hands on entering the studio
  • On joining, all members are asked to complete a medical form. Please let the instructor know if you are a new member, instructors will provide guidance on how to use equipment. Fitcamp Women Limited will not accept any liability for any claim for personal injury if members do not follow guidance provided
  • If you are unsure as to how to use any piece of equipment you must seek advice from the class instructor before using the equipment
  • If you have a disability, please discuss this with the director, Kealey Dermody to see what reasonable adjustments can be provided.
  • If you have a injury, are pregnant, gave birth to a baby in the last 6 months, had a recent operation or medical procedure, please notify the instructor before the class starts, so the instructor can provide lower impact or alternative exercises
  • For safety reasons, bags are not permitted onto the studio floor and correct clothing must be worn when exercising (suitable comfortable exercise clothing and appropriate footwear).  Any member not wearing suitable clothing may be asked to leave the studio
  • By accessing the studio and using the studio equipment members are deemed to have read and understood the terms and conditions of membership


Conduct


  • You must not use the studio whilst under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, tranquilisers or any medication or other substance which may affect your ability to exercise safely. Fitcamp Women Ltd reserves the right to remove you from the premises if it reasonable believes you are unfit to use the facilities
  • You must not behave in an aggressive, abusive, anti-social or threatening manner to any staff or member, any one doing so will have their membership terminated immediately and Fitcamp Women Ltd reserves the right to contact the Police if deemed necessary
  • Smoking, including e- cigarettes are strictly prohibited in all areas of the studio
  • Please do not use your mobile phone during a class and make sure it is on silent. To use your mobile phone, please go to Reception
  • Please do not take photographs/videos on the premises or post remarks to the internet that may identify another member



Using Equipment 


  • Please ensure that you put your weights back in the correct place at the end of the class
  • Please do not misuse the weights by dropping them on the floor
  • When returning mats to the cupboard, please make sure they are rolled tightly and not folded
  • When setting up or putting bouncers back, please handle with care and ask for assistance if required
  • When setting up bouncers make sure foam pads are placed under each leg to avoid damage to the studio floor
  • Spray kit once you have used it with the cleaning products provided. Cleaning sprays and disposable towels are available in the studio for you to use



Class booking


  • Members must arrive promptly for class start times, late arrival may result in being refused entry to the class
  • Members are required to book in advance on the GymCatch app or web portal
  • Members can book via the GymCatch app or web portal from 7 days in advance
  • You must cancel your class via the GymCatch app or web portal at least 1 hour before it starts or this will be recorded as a no show
  • If a class is full, a member can book onto a waiting list via the GymCatch app or web portal


Members with extenuating circumstances impacting their ability to attend classes should contact Kealey Dermody on 07734 957 112 .



belongings


  • Members are advised to park their car at the car park at the back of the studio. If parking at the front, please make sure you do not block any entryways. Fitcamp Women Ltd accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property.
  • Members are solely responsible for their own belongings whilst visiting Fitcamp Women. Fitcamp Women Ltd accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property
  • Members are asked to only use the storage unit for the duration of the classes they are attending. The storage unit will be emptied at night and members items removed to lost property. Such items will be kept until claimed, but for no longer than one month after which time the items will either be donated to charity or disposed of
  • Members may not bring any pets (other than official aid dogs) into the studio

Members are responsible for ensuring that their payment details are up to date  - Any changes, please notify Kealey Dermody on 07734 957 112 . Late or failed payments may incur an additional charge.
